The two best directions to take when it comes to life coaching is the either sign up for a program of your choice or to book personal one on one training with a life coach. There are pros and cons to each one of those choices. I have listed a few of the pros and cons.
Benefit of signing up for a Program
Pros
- The program is always ready when you are.
- You can do the lessons at anytime and anywhere in the world
- You can take as much or as little time you need on each lesson
- It is flexible in every way
- It provides a general yet proven format.
- You are not put in the spot or forced to be held accountable.
Cons
- If you have questions, there is nobody to ask
- You have to be disciplined to get the lessons done
- You will not feel heard
Benefit of One-on-One Coaching
Pros
- The lessons are catered to you and your needs
- Lessons are able to go into depth
- You can get answers to questions
- A plan can be put together that is specifically designed for you
- You will have a person that holds you accountable
- You will feel and be heard
Cons
- You will be asked questions and will be expected to answer the questions.
- You have somebody to hold you accountable.
- You will have to set aside time for the coaching lessons
Benefit of doing both forms of Coaching
Pros
- You will have flexibility in when you take the program lessons and structure with the one-on one coaching.
- You can get answers to questions pertaining to both the one-on-one lessons and the program
- All of the benefits of both the formats of learning
Cons
- You could end up being overwhelmed as you are working both side by side.
- You will have more homework
- You will have to set aside more time to get it all done.
